Josh Nichols
Senior Pastor
Josh Nichols is married to Felicia and has two kids. He attended The Master’s Seminary while serving as a pastoral assistant in Kingsburg, CA. Josh enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching movies. Some of the book that have influenced him the most are The Reformed Pastor by Richard Baxter, Preaching and Preachers by Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones, and By Grace Alone by Sinclair Ferguson.
Eugene Williams
ELDER
Eugene was born in Alabama and raised in Decatur, Georgia, graduating from Georgia Tech in 2001 with a degree in Computer Engineering where his involvement in the Baptist Student Union sparked his calling to ministry. He began study at Dallas Theological Seminary in 2001 while serving as a student ministry intern at Prestonwood Baptist Church. He later transferred to The Master’s Seminary and earned a Master of Divinity there in 2007 while serving as an associate pastor in a Los Angeles Church plant. After marrying Young in 2009, the two moved to Monterey in 2011. Since coming to the Peninsula, Eugene has worked full-time for a local DoD agency while faithfully serving as an elder at First Baptist Church Monterey since 2012.
